Jaimie Engle is an award-winning writer of genre-bending retellings of legend and lore. Her book awards include the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future (2015), Kirkus Editor’s Choice (2020), and the Publisher’s Weekly Booklife Prize in Fiction and Non-fiction (2020). Her adapted script from her novella “The Dredge” is a quarterfinalist in the Genre Screenplay Contest (2022). “The 9 Circles” was adapted from a short story that was honored on The Red List at #6 for television pilots, a semifinalist in the Unique Voices Screenwriting Award, and a limited-edition comic book with Blood Moon Comics (2022). Jaimie’s YA novel “Metal Mouth” was a quarterfinalist in the Book to Film Award and on The Red List (2022) at #10. Her legal rep is Daren Chavez of Tricarico Chavez, LLP.  Besides writing, Jaimie slays cubes in Beat Saber, watches stage performances by her firstborn, and cheers her high schooler during Friday Night Lights football. Fun fact? Jaimie was an alien on Seaquest.
